Database Administrator (CBR) (National Capital Reg)
Responsibilities:
Performs database tasks (installation, setup/configuration, user/object creation, testing) for new / upgraded systems
Defines and perform database backups and recovery procedures
Proactively monitors database for optimum performance and provides support for testing environments during UAT and development phases
Works closely with Systems Administrators to configure software and hardware so that it functions optimally with the RDBMS
Performs database migration and cutover to production; provides onsite support during these activities
Complies with all operational standards and other requirements
Reviews and prepares system documentation
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Required skill(s): Project management, troubleshooting, technical & documentation skills, experienced in SQL/PL-SQL/T-SQL programming, knowledge on enterprise grade servers,operating systems (UNIX, Linux), network, process flows.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Male or female
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent. Job role in Database Administrator or equivalent.
