Customer Engineer
(National Capital Reg)

Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Sales:
  • Gathers technical information from client for their network requirement
  • Provides solution to customer requirements through pre-sales initiatives such as creation of conceptual design for voice,data, and video application
  • Study serviceability by identifying and filter-out sites if no nearest Bayan node/POP. (for multiple sites r’qmnts)
  • Provide costing CAPEX for account profitability analysis
  • Provide assistance to Network in conducting on-site technical survey
  • Provide assistance in preparing technical documentation /requirement during bidding
  • Prepare and facilitate technical presentation to customer
  • Provide assistance in facilitating Proof of Concept
  • Assist Network for resolution of pre implementation issues


  • Post-Sales:
  • Inform and/or escalate client complaint or trouble to back end support such as CSDIP,NMC, DNOC, TxNOC, SwNOC
  • Provide assistance on-site trouble isolation and restoration (i.e. router re-configuration)
  • Provide assistance to clients on request such as MRTG access for IAS, IPVPN, DFR and other monitoring reports through NMC
  • Provide assistance to support group in preparing incident/trouble reports

Requirements:

  • Licensed ECE graduate
  • CCNA is an advantage
  • At least 3-4 years experience in the Telecommunications industry
  • Good communication skills
  • Comprehensive in technical writings
  • Honest; Patient; With good moral character
  • Computer literate (word/excel/power point, ms project etc)
  • Must be willing to accept phone calls even after working hours
  • Willing to work beyond office hours and to travel locally
  • Preferably with valid driver's license
